Secret

As effigies of love

by moonlight they meet,

beside ivy clad pillars

in echoes of allegiance.

.
Statuesque in their

endearment, the

foliage creeps over

fragmented remnants.

.
The leaves meander

graceful trailing.

Their touch slight

and gently caressing.

.
They steal the night,

incandescent in desire.

Secretly they claim

their forbidden love.
